The Designated Fund Summary report displays the receipts, disbursements, and net monthly balances for accounts in the specified period. This report can be run for Liability and/or Capital accounts.
This Help page contains the following sections:
This report runs based on your currently selected period. Change the currently selected period to run the report on a different period (More Information).
On the Filters tab select the Account Types to display on the report: Liabilities and/or Capital. In the Account Structure area select the levels you want to include on the report. The Account Number filter allows you to further narrow down which accounts you want to display on the report. Selecting any option other than Show All displays fields so you can input the numbers.
If you see companies listed in the Account Structure filter, see General Ledger Plus for information on running reports.
On the Options tab select to Show Column Header As either Receipts/Disbursements or Credits/Debits. You then have several Report Options:
•Suppress Zero Balances
•Print Account Number
•Show Sub Accounts
•Wrap Account Description
•Print in Landscape
Choose your Page Break Options: none or Fund. You can select the Line Spacing and your Report Type:
•Regular: Prints the beginning balance, receipts and disbursements, net change, and an ending balance for the period.
•YTD with Transfers and Adjustments: Transfer refers to any journal entry made with a journal type of TR and Adjustment refers to any journal entry made with a journal type of AJ.
You can also customize what you want to display on the report by using your mouse to drag options horizontally between Available Options and Selected Options. You can also drag options vertically to re-order the Selected Options column. We recommend you drag items between the columns rather than using the ">>" and "<<" buttons since those buttons move all items.
Click the Run Report button to display a preview of your Designated Fund Summary report. You may also click the Clear Preferences link to reset all of your report preferences to their initial values. Once the preview displays you can navigate the pages, export to several formats (e.g., PDF, Excel, Word), and Print. Click Report Preferences on the blue bar above the report preview to return to Report Preferences or click the Close Report button to return to the main General Ledger page.
