Changing Online Giving Providers

 

Develop a communication strategy to communicate the migration process to your donors. This may be a combination of letters, emails, bulletin inserts, announcements, etc.  

Another important factor in this process is to determine the “switch over” date. This is the date you switch over to the ShelbyNext Giving. This date should be used in your communication with your donors so they know when to cancel payment information in the old system and start re-entering their payment information and recurring payments in ShelbyNext Giving. Consider having different welcome messages display before and after the “switch over” date.

We are in the process of switching payment providers for online giving. After XX/XX/XXXX, we will need you to login to the ‘old system’ and disable your current repeating payment.  Use the following instructions if you have forgotten how to do this:

In an effort to offer new ways for our contributors to give, we are changing our payment providers.  Since your payment information is not transferred to the new payment provider, please login to the ‘old system’ and disable your current repeating payment by ??/??/????.  Below are the steps:
