Prevention: Steps for Keeping Children Safe

Did you know that the month of April is Child Abuse
Prevention Awareness Month?
As you begin planning your children’s Easter activities, Vacation
Bible Schools and Camps, now is the perfect time to review (or
create) your ministry Child Abuse Prevention training schedule. By
educating employees and volunteers properly on how to identify common
signs of abuse, you’re better prepared to prevent it from happening
in your own ministry.
Here are some
questions to get you started:

you completed a background check on every staff and volunteer
who interacts with children? When was the last time you
re-checked long-time volunteers?
- Do
you require Child Abuse Prevention Training for all staff and
volunteers to educate them of warning signs of abuse and

- Will run from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Central
Time)
Workshops are limited to 15 attendees. Secure your

201 Virtual Training Workshops
are designed for existing ChMS or ShelbyFinancials customers who want
to streamline their processes or simply gain tips and tricks for
their software tools.
There are four topics for each 201 workshop and each workshop is

collectively.
Each session:
- Is
offered online as an interactive lecture-style video conference
session
- Includes a detailed step-by-step workbook
(available as a PDF download)
- Will
run from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM (Central Time)
