NEW IRS Regulations for eFiling W2s and 1099s

Have you heard?

In March the IRS released final regulations amending the filing rules for W-2 and 1099 returns and other documents. The e-file threshold has officially been lowered from 250 to 10 forms in Tax Year 2023 (to be filed in 2024). This regulation includes the total for all aggregated forms filed.

101 Workshops

The Virtual Training Workshops are designed for new ChMS or ShelbyFinancials customers, users who need a refresher course, and/or existing customers who change staff positions. These two workshops are two hours daily over four days. 

Each workshop:

• Offered online as an interactive lecture-style video conference session
• Limited to 15 attendees
• Includes a detailed step by step workbook (available as a PDF download)
• Each 101-workshop day will run from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Central Time)

201 Workshops

The Virtual 201 Training Workshops are designed for existing ChMS or ShelbyFinancials customers, who want to streamline their processes or just gain another tip or trick of the software. These workshops are broken into two-hour sessions that can be taken separately or collectively.

There are Four Topics for Each Workshop:

• Offered online as an interactive lecture-style video conference session 
• Limited to 12 attendees 
• Includes a detailed step-by-step workbook (available as a PDF download) 
• Each 201-workshop session will run from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM (Central Time)
