Let me
introduce a new member of our Shelby family, Nick Weaver. Nick
is our new Sales Representative that will be covering
our Northeast Territory. Nick is replacing John Crowell who was
recently promoted to a sales leadership position within our
company. Nick comes to us from the investment industry with
a background in sales and real estate investments. Here is Nick’s
biography to learn more about him. If you are in
the Northeast territory, Nick will be handling your needs for
any products and services your church requires. You can
see those states by visiting our Sales
Team webpage here.

Our support
and training teams have consolidated a number
of resources (including blogs, videos and documentation) that
we think will be helpful as you prepare for Year-End. If you
are processing W2s, 1099s, contribution statements, creating another
financial year, entering budgets.... please take a moment and
review.

The Resurgence of the QR Code
|
|
Using a QR
Code is by no means new technology. Historically, we’ve used them on
our business cards, for downloading apps, online greeting cards,
advertising, getting someone to our website… the list goes on. The need
to go ‘contactless’, however, has brought about a resurgence in their
use. If you’ve visited a restaurant lately, you’ll receive a QR code in
lieu of the customary menu. Our morning news and commercials use them
to link to various ‘Christmas’ lists and product information. We are
even starting to see churches use them while streaming church services
to link to bulletins, online giving sites, newsletters and event
information.
Here’s some
information we thought might help as you consider using this easy and
effective means to get information to your congregation.
