you of our remaining holiday schedule for the rest of
the calendar year.

Contribution
Year-End Statements
|
|
|
|
We’re getting close to the end of 2020 and Thanksgiving
and Christmas are right around the corner. For many that means food,
family and fun. For others it means focusing on their year-end check
lists. And it’s not too early to start thinking about contribution
statements.
Below are a number of links that we think will be very
helpful as you prepare and print or email your year-end giving
statements.
ShelbyNext Membership
Start with this Contribution Statements
Year-End Overview video. From there you’ll find information
on Customize your Giving
Statement as well as Printing and Emailing your
statements.
Arena
We recommend using Arena’s 5 Fund Contribution Statement
for printing statements. Check the Arena Hub to install this report and
to make sure it is up-to-date.
Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services can be used to
modify current statements or design a brand new one. Contact our
training team at training@shelbyinc.com if you are
interested in learning more about reporting services.
Kingdom First Solutions
is a partner of Shelby Systems that specializes in helping Arena
clients. They offer several services, including custom report
development. If you would rather have someone build your custom
statement, Kingdom First would be happy to help!

New Groups Functionality added to MinistryOne
|
|
|
|
MinistryOne Groups help people connect with the church and
one another. The uninvolved can find a group, and those already
involved can connect with other members of their small group or
volunteer ministry.
Church administrators have full control through ShelbyNext
Membership over which groups display, and individuals can control what
contact information displays to others.

|
|
My Groups
- View groups you are in, other members of the group,
and details such as family members, contact info…
- Groups that display are controlled through ShelbyNext
Membership.
- An Individual's detail that displays is controlled by
the Profile Visibility settings for each person.
|
|
|
|
|
Join a Group
- View groups available to join, including details on
when and where they meet. See locations on a map and filter by
meeting day/time or nearest.
- Join a group on-the-spot or send a request.
- Groups that display and group specifics are all
controlled through ShelbyNext Membership.

|
|

Functional Expense Audit Report -
Shelby Financials Release 10.0 introduces a new set of Functional
Expense Audit reports explicitly designed for auditors use. There are

Excel and CSV exports for GL Reports - The 10.0 release also included improved excel and csv exports

Two New Contribution Entry Settings - We know that the ability to enter data quickly is very
important, so we are continuing to improve and speed up the
contribution entry process. Two new entry preferences have been added:

MPower 2020:
A Conference to Remember!
|
|
|
|
We had a great time hosting MPower this year with over
600 attendees joining us for our very first virtual ministry tech
conference! A wide range of classes were available on Church Management
Software, Financials, Giving, Marketing & Communication, and more.
Thank you to all who participated and to those who will be watching the
recorded sessions at a later date! We hope it was a valuable experience
that will help you continue to maximize your technology and grow your
