Soft Launch Planning

 

We highly encourage our customers to test their new Giving software and setup with a Soft Launch. Once you have established a basic grasp of ShelbyNext Giving, allow church staff and/or select volunteers/leadership to donate. This will allow you to see your Giving in action with a limited number of donations. You will be able to use real data to:

a)          Analyze program functionality.

b)          Gain a better understanding of how the money flows.

c)          Test reports.

d)          Help with design, testing and evaluation.

e)          Refine user permissions.

 

Attached is a one page Soft Launch Planning Guide to assist you in thinking through how to communicate a test of your system. While this is an optional step, we highly recommend investing the time to familiarize your leadership and a team of members who can help champion this opportunity in your ministry.

Find your giving URL in ShelbyNext Giving under Organization > Settings in the Giving Portal section. Using this link will allow volunteers create their account, enter a one-time gift and setup a recurring gift before the link is published on your church website.
