Ready to learn from the experts? It's only $99 to attend the 2-day event!

Our instructors are the very same industry experts that work every day to develop and enhance the technology that you already use to manage and grow your ministry. Not only will these focused sessions give you an in-depth overview of the software you use daily, you'll also have the opportunity to ask questions and get best practice advice from the product-leads themselves.

View the full schedule of Shelby courses here and a list of Arena classes here.

If you can't make the full conference, or you're just interested in too many classes to choose from, don't forget you can add on access to ALL the sessions once the conference is over for just an additional $80! Just be sure to select this option during checkout.

Keeping Groups Up to Date

Groups are used to track membership status, grades, classes, choirs, services, outreach teams and an overabundance of other things.

As policies, focus and priorities change, so do your groups, often leaving you with a collection of outdated and irrelevant information. Routinely auditing your groups is a best practice. Click the link below for ideas that will help you manage your groups.

NEW Ticketing Functionality
Added to ShelbyForms

In-person meeting restrictions mandated by local and state guidelines placed the additional burden of limiting how many attendees could attend Worship Services. The June ShelbyNews provided information on 'Event Registration with Limited Capacity'.

ShelbyForms now includes a NEW ticketing feature that provides your registrants with scannable ticket codes that can be used to check into your event. This feature can be used for both free and paid events!

Click HERE for information on using the new ticket feature in ShelbyForms.

Time To Revise Your Budget

With all the changes caused by the COVID-19 crisis, it just might be time for you to revise your budget.

Shelby Financials' budget tool provides a method to do that and keep a copy of your original budget so you can report on the revised or original budget.

Using Relative Dates
on Giving Reports

Reporting, especially as it relates to financial information, can be used as a health barometer to track trends. Report filters have included a number of common preset date criteria that were intended to save you time (i.e. last month, last six months, last year). 'Relative Dates' takes this a step further.

Let's say, for example, you routinely report on the last 13 weeks, or four months....Relative Dates makes it possible to set up the custom time period your report requires. The trick is to be sure you SAVE the report. You will then be able to use My Reports to run it with a single click.

#GivingTuesday Is Right Around The Corner!

#GivingTuesday, created in 2012, was the brainchild of New York’s 92nd Street Y and the United Nations Foundation. This holiday serves to create a global movement of generosity and kindness by inspiring people to donate to nonprofit organizations around the world.

Similar to how Black Friday represents the beginning of the holiday shopping season, #GivingTuesday is the kickoff to the charitable giving season - placing focus on the true meaning of the season.

This holiday is a true social media movement (hence the hashtag). Donors often share information about their favorite cause and organizations on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. – encouraging their friends and family to contribute as well!

Now is a great time to begin to think about how your church or ministry can leverage the kickoff of the charitable giving season on #GivingTuesday.

Is there an annual holiday initiative that your ministry will re-imagine this year? Is there a new need in your community that your givers can impact? The possibilities are endless! Check out this planning and day-of guide.
